Welcome!

Hi, I’m Kimberly and I’m a licensed mental health therapist located in the Seattle area and serving clients across Washington state. Together, let’s explore what healing means for you - personally, relationally, and in your unique context.

Life can be beautiful, messy, and at times painful. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help when you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck in the season you’re in. Whether you’re navigating stressful life transitions or new identities and roles, experiencing a rupture in life such as relational conflict or grief and loss, or seeking a professional other than your family and friends to process what’s affecting you, I’d love the opportunity to come alongside you as a supportive resource!

I specialize in helping BIPOC and queer teens and adults reflect on their struggles and strengths and work towards grounding and healing in the midst of adjustments or more difficult chapters. I also have training in working with perinatal mood disorders, spirituality and religious trauma, and using expressive arts therapy in sessions to aid in the reflection and transformation journey.

Expressive Art Therapy

You don’t need to be an artist to engage with expressive arts therapy! Through entry level prompts, we can use art, music, body movement/dance, journaling and storytelling, poetry and bibliotherapy, and other creative methods to process and heal beyond traditional talk therapy. And it can be done online through telehealth!

My Approach:

Culturally Sensitive & Trauma Informed

My therapeutic approach centers an anti-oppression lens and trauma informed practices. I care deeply about providing brave space for you to feel welcome to bring your authentic self to our sessions, particularly clients with marginalized identities.

Relational

I practice from a relational cultural framework that honors your unique story and experiences and provides space for you to explore yourself and relationships with others in your context. Often when our relationships with others are suffering, it can be beneficial to have a space to reflect on how the relational conflict is impacting you as well as process ways forward.

I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.”
